School is lame, and of all 'schools' University is the lamest. The more i think about it, the more i've convinced myself that, unless you are Scienceboy with a superhuman thirst for knowledge (if you watch Friends you'll get this), or have a burning ambition to save the world using complex physics or genetic mutation, university is quite a waste of time. Honestly, if you live in a country where blue-collar workers could earn twice as much (or more)as educated people with white-collar jobs, spending 4 years++ on an education while you could be earning money/gaining work experience seems just a little bit stupid.
Four months a term is too short a time to properly learn, understand, master, be proficient in anything as intricate as animal physiology or ecology. Every term I feel like i'm scratching the surface of the ice, and by the time i manage to dig a bit deeper and think i'm starting to get a sense of the big picture, it's the end of the term and you have 3 days to cram, cram, cram before the exam comes and you're expected to do splendidly because 'Oh! You're smart enough to make it to university and you really want to learn about this stuff!' Universities are money sucking corporations that convince the world that you need a degree to survive. It's NOT true. I don't believe it!
